  • Vegetarians of Alberta Holiday Potluck

    • Holiday potluck. Please bring your own plate, and utensils, and vegan or
    lacto-ovo dish. Bring along festive features like candles, musical    instruments, decorations, table cloths, song sheets, and a festive spirit.

    Location: Riverdale Hall, 9231 - 100 Avenue. 
    Time: 5:30 p.m. 
    Admission: Members $2, Non-Members $3.

  • Vegetarians of Alberta Restaurant Outing

    • Asian Hut Restaurant, vegetarian buffet.  No need to reserve

  • Montreal Vegetarian Potlucks

    • A monthly to bimonthly series of vegan potlucks or restaurant outings in the Montreal area for veg*ns, aspiring veg*ns and their partners.

    Ottawa Vegetarian Society Potlucks
    The OVS potluck is normally held on the last Sunday of each month from 6 pm to 9pm at the Sandy Hill Community Centre, 250 Somerset St. East. The #16 bus takes you to the door. A minimum contribution of $3 per person is needed to cover the cost of hall rental ($80 per event).Attendance varies from 20 to 50. A film or lecture pertinent to vegetarianism or some other aspect of holistic living is usually presented after dinner.

  • Toronto Vegetarian Association 

    • Regular events include "Member's Choice" dinners at local restaurants, and informational get-togethers for new vegetarians.

  • 34th World Vegetarian Congress 2000, Toronto, Canada Hosted by the Toronto Vegetarian Association, this is the fisrt time in its 90 year history that World Vegetarian Congress took place in Canada. The event was  held between July 10 -16, 2000.
