Mulled Wine Vegan
Preparation: 30 minutes
Makes 2 litres
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 5 cloves, whole
- 1 c. hot water
- 2 oringes, sliced thinly
- ½ lemon, sliced thinly
- 2 L dry red wine
- Combine all ingredients, except wine, in a large pot.
- Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add wine and simmer another 10 minutes before serving.
Note: This works well simmered in a slow cook pot during a holiday party.
