Sesame Noodles
Delicious hot or cold!Vegan
Preparation: 15 minutes
Serves 4
- 6 T tahini (sesame paste)
- 3 T sesame oil
- 3 T tamari
- 2 T sesame chili oil
- 2 T unseasoned rice vinnegar
- 3 T fresh coriander, chopped
- 4 T water
- 2 T sesame seeds, toasted
- 300g spaghetti, spaghettini, angel hair pasta
- Combine all ingredients except the sesame seeds in a medium bowl an mix together well.
- Add enough water so that the mixture falls from the spoon in ribbons.
- Bring 4 litres of water to a boil.
- Dunk the noodles into the boiling water and cook for about 3 minutes. Drain well.
- Stir the sauce and add to the noodles.
- Toss well to coat.
- Serve with toasted sesame seeds on top.
Hint: Toast sesame seeds in a heavy ungreased skillet over medium heat.Serve with a salad to round out the meal.
